Sometimes all you need is accountability, but sometimes you need a champion, to help keep you motivated and believing in the value of your writing. This is the core of my work as a coach and mentor. My aim is to work with each person on their own terms to understand how you can become the writer you want to be, but it’s always collaborative process, worked out between the two of us. I can help you find ways of working and routines that feel right for you, in order to get you writing the things you want. My years of lecturing and research means I am a very adapt close reader: in each meeting I can provide granular analysis of your writing and suggest detailed feedback. I’ll also provide personalised reading recommendations and guidance to help enhance your own work, as well as industry insights and advice.
